MSP for Motherwell and Wishaw Clare Adamson has urged people in her constituency to register as organ donors - and speak to their families about their wishes - as new calls are made to increase life-saving donations. ‌

Her call comes as families affected by the shortage of available organs continue to highlight the devastating impact of waiting for a transplant that never comes. ‌

Across Scotland, hundreds of people remain on transplant waiting lists, many for lungs, hearts, kidneys, and other vital organs. ‌
