CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Browns ’ playoff hopes are dwindling after an inconsistent first half of their 2025 season.
With a 2-6 record, the team faces long odds to reach the postseason. ESPN recently listed the Browns’ chances of making the playoffs at 18-1.
Cleveland’s defense has emerged as the team’s foundation through the first eight games, providing competitive play despite their overall record. Defensive end Myles Garrett continues his dominant performance with 10 sacks, 15 tackles for loss and 31 tackles overall. Rookie linebacker Carson Schwesinger has made an immediate impact, leading the team with 59 tackles while adding 4 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 1 interception.
