GREENSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- A newly-released autopsy report reveals new details about Greensboro police officer Michael Horan, who was shot and killed in the line of duty last year.
The State Medical Examiner's report stated that Officer Horan , 44, was shot five times, including three times in the head, once in the chest, and once in the abdomen. He was gunned down while responding to a call at a Greensboro Food Lion last December.
The suspect, 34-year-old Tarell McMillian , was captured about 150 miles away in Duplin County after a high-speed chase. McMillian has been in jail without bond since his arrest.
