Renovation work is continuing at Indian Prairie School District 204, with several construction-related measures getting the green light from the District 204 School Board at their meeting on Monday.
The district is undergoing a major overhaul of many of its facilities as a result of the passage of a bond referendum last year. Some district renovations are underway, with some work already completed and other projects planned for the future. A few projects in various stages of progress got necessary approvals from the School Board on Monday.
In the 2024 election, DuPage and Will County voters overwhelmingly backed a proposal from District 204 to sell $420 million in bonds to pay for facilities improvements throughout the district, according to past reporting. The bonds are being paid for
