CLEVELAND, Ohio — For all the injuries suffered by Maple Heights’ standout football players, here it stands as a No. 12 seed in the OHSAA Division III regional quarterfinals.
The Mustangs (8-3) overcame multiple first-half deficits last week to win at Chardon in their playoff opener. Now, they head to Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills to face fourth-seeded Villa Angela-St. Joseph (8-1), one of the favorites in Region 9.
