A paramedic was allegedly attacked while trying to help a Rangers fan who fell ill during Sunday's Old Firm. ‌

The Gers supporter suffered a medical emergency in the West Stand at Hampden Park during the Premier Sports Cup semi-final match on November 2. ‌

An ambulance crew was called to the scene around 4pm to assist the unwell punter. ‌

Ambulance Service bosses claim one of their medics was attacked while giving first aid.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were contacted at 15.59 to attend an incident on 2 November at Hampden Park.

"A paramedic and an ambulance crew were dispatched to the scene, arriving two minutes later. ‌
