FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Governor Mike Braun announced Wednesday morning that flags should be flown at half-staff in honor and remembrance of former Vice President Dick Cheney, who died Monday night.

According to a release by the governor’s office, Braun is asking Hoosiers across the state to join him in lowering flags in the late former Vice President’s honor.

The release says the flags of state facilities should be flown at half-staff until sunset on the day of Cheyney’s funeral, which has not yet been announced.
