OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio -- Olmsted Falls voters approved three five-year levy renewals on Election Day.
“I want to thank our voters,” Olmsted Falls Mayor James Graven said.
“I appreciate all the support they give to our police, fire and service departments.”
Vote totals regarding Issue 28, which was a police department levy renewal, were 1,575 (68.39%) in favor versus 728 (31.61%) against, according to final, unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.
The 1.3-mill police department levy renewal will raise $272,000 annually for maintaining motor vehicles, communications and other equipment.
Also passing was Issue 29.
