A man was stabbed and seriously injured on a Bronx subway platform Tuesday night, and NYPD officials said detectives are looking for the person responsible.

Police found the man with stab wounds to his chest around 10:15 p.m. on the northbound B train platform at the Bedford Park Boulevard station, according to the NYPD. First responders took him to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition, the NYPD said.

Officials said he is at least 30 years old, but did not have further identifying information. Police said they also did not yet have a description of a possible suspect, and were still looking into a possible motive for the attack.
