TRAVERSE CITY — Cherry Capital Airport is expanding its summer travel options next year with the early return of a popular Delta Air Lines route.
Per a Nov. 5 news release, for the first time Delta’s nonstop service between Traverse City and Atlanta will begin in May, nearly a month earlier than in 2025.
The route officially launches May 23, 2026, providing travelers with earlier access to one of the nation’s largest hubs.
“Increased seat capacity to Atlanta is one of the most frequent air service requests we hear from our community,” said Kevin Klein, CEO of Cherry Capital Airport. “We’re incredibly grateful to Delta for their continued commitment to Northern Michigan.”
