SANTA FE COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – A Santa Fe man was arrested this week, accused of offering a teen money to get in his vehicle multiple times and allegedly trying to run her over, according to court documents.
Mark Roybal, 60, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, stalking, and enticement of a child, court records show.
The alleged incident took place on Oct. 20 in El Rancho, which is a part of Santa Fe County. The 11-year-old had just gotten off the school bus near County Roads 84 C and D and was going to meet a friend when a man, later identified as Roybal, reportedly approached her in a white truck.
