A couple is accusing the Walker Police Department and Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office of wrongfully entering their home and detaining them.
Douglas and Melissa Kenyon, of Walker, filed a lawsuit Monday seeking damages against police officers and sheriff's deputies.
The lawsuit alleges law enforcement trespassed into the Kenyon home without a warrant or consent and detained Douglas Kenyon at gunpoint without probable cause of a crime.
The lawsuit says the couple suffers from fear, anxiety, post-traumatic stress and other damages due to the alleged incident.
