YOUNGSTOWN The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) has announced the launch of its 2025 Annual Campaign.
This year, donations to the campaign will directly support the transformation of the Michael Kusalaba Library on Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown into a dedicated "Family Place Library."
According to a press release, a Family Place Library is a library model that creates early learning environments for young children and their caregivers, designed to strengthen families, build connections, and foster early literacy and lifelong learning.
This will be the first library operating under this model in the Mahoning Valley, according to the release.
The Family Place Library Program will include a five-week parent/child workshop program for toddlers, parents and care
