COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - U.S. Sen. Tim Scott addressed reports that Rep. Nancy Mace directly referred to him during an alleged tirade at a South Carolina airport.
According to reports from airport police, Mace arrived at Charleston International Airport on Oct. 30. Officers were going to escort the congresswoman to her gate, but were reportedly unaware of her arrival.
When they met up with her, multiple officers reported that Mace became “irate” and began cursing. She also reportedly said, among other things, that police “would never treat [Sen.] Tim Scott like this.”
