FALLON, Nev. (KOLO) - A man the Nevada State Contractor’s Board says was an unlicensed contractor has been arrested in connection with work on a Fallon home.
They say a consumer tip led to the arrest of Mario Alberto Nonato Jr of 3M Home Services LLC, who was wanted on misdemeanor and felony charges for unlawful construction practices.
The complaint against Nonato was received in March of this year when the NSCB says he was contracted to install windows and a sliding glass door at Fallon home for $14,915. They say he was later contracted to build a fence and gates at the same address for $7,885.
They say he collected nearly $14,000 in down payments from the homeowner without providing labor or materials for the agreed upon projects.
