RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A man has been arrested after the Reno Police Department says he sent videos of himself beating and choking a woman’s small dog.

55-year-old David Olsen was arrested on charges of felony animal cruelty, coercion with threats, and aggravated stalking on Wednesday.

RPD says Olsen sent videos to the woman, allegedly telling her that the abuse would escalate the longer the victim was away from her.

No other details were immediately released.
