KANSAS CITY, Mo. — To continue down the path to help with elder abuse, Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger announced a statewide "Protect Our Seniors" tour.
The tour aims to bring attention to elder abuse prevention, deliver resources to families and listen to feedback from Missouri residents about the challenges they've endured.
“Too often, our seniors are targeted by scammers, neglected by broken systems, or left without the resources they need,” said Wasinger. “This tour is about putting seniors and their families first, listening to their concerns, and working with local leaders to deliver real solutions.”
The 2026 tour stops include:
Sept. 15: Franklin County Sept. 26: Christian County Oct. 17: Cape Girardeau County Oct. 27: Jefferson County Nov. 5: Jackson County Nov. 17: Mid-Miss
