Sedgwick Middle School’s annual Turkey Bowl and Turkey Trot returned was held on Monday, Nov. 3, and featured a surprising result in the football game and a not-so-surprising outpouring of generosity to support families in the community.

Originally planned for Halloween, the event was postponed due to weather. On Monday, Sedgwick had a modified schedule, and then at 1 p.m. the whole school, joined by family members and friends, made their way outside for Turkey Bowl XVI (16) – an event organized annually by sixth grade teacher Matt Celio and seventh g
