MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Meet Zues!

This big, goofy sweetheart is looking for his forever home.

Zues is seven years old and came to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin as a surrender.

Don’t let his size fool you—Zues is a gentle giant!

Zues was accompanied by Kaitlyn Flynn of the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin.

“He really is just a gentle giant, that’s what we call him at the shelter.” Flynn told our Phoebe Murray. “He loves people, he knows ‘sit’ and ‘shake.’ We’re working on ‘down.’ He’s a smart guy. He’s just looking to settle down with his forever family, and he’s just a really big sweetheart, even though he is a big guy.”

Zues’ exact breed is unknown, though it is suspected he has German Shepherd in his mix. Though he is seven, Flynn said he’s still an active boy.
