ASHBURN, Va. — Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday afternoon that Jayden Daniels will not be placed on the injured reserve list for the time being.

According to Quinn, the team and Daniels are continuing to meet with medical staff and are getting a second opinion. WUSA9's sports director Chick Hernandez reported on Monday that Daniels suffered a dislocated left elbow. And although not broken, it has yet to be determined if he needs surgery and a timeline for his recovery.

Daniels' injury was just one of many suffered by Commanders players in the team's 38-14 loss to Seattle in a Sunday Night Football matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Luke McCaffrey suffered a broken collarbone on the opening kickoff and Marshon Lattimore may have torn his ACL.
