On the morning of Monday, Nov. 10, the American Legion Post 196 will present a total of $2,400 to 10 current employees at Camp Bowie who are furloughed due to the government shutdown.
John Miller with the American Legion Post 196 stated the money will be divided among the employees, some who are married with families and others who are single, as a way to assist in a time of need.
