BEREA — The biggest name that many thought was a realistic possibility to be traded by the Browns ahead of the deadline was tight end David Njoku .

Njoku certainly fit the mold of a deadline target: Proven production and financially affordable due to his contract status. Whether or not general manager Andrew Berry had many, or any, offers for his veteran tight end became irrelevant at 4 p.m. Nov. 4, when the deadline passed and Njoku remained on the roster.
