The first round of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association high school football playoffs are here.

Brevard, Franklin, Mountain Heritage, Murphy, Pisgah, Robbinsville, Roberson and Swain County all earned a first-round bye in their respective bracket after a strong regular season. But there are a handful of top matchups for WNC teams in the first round.
