LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Both southbound and northbound lanes of US-127 are closed between Saginaw Street and Kalamazoo Street following a crash and powerlines being down.

It is currently unclear if anyone is injured.

Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes while crews work to clear the scene.
