Dick Cheney, one of America’s most powerful and prominent conservative voices, died on Nov. 3.
The 84-year-old politician and businessman had an impressive career. He was a significant presence in Republican Party circles. He served as White House chief of staff for President Gerald Ford between 1975-1977, represented Wyoming in the House of Representatives, was an early supporter of Ronald Reagan’s 1980 presidential bid and served as Secretary of Defense for President George H.W. Bush. His crowning political achievement was being Vice-President under George W. Bush.
