How many of us find that by the end of the day, our necks, shoulders and upper backs are feeling stiff and a little sore? This has become pretty common- place as we may spend hours at a computer or holding a mobile phone against our ears. It has been estimated that adults in the United States spend up to four or more hours a day on their cellphones. We check our phones an average of 58 times a day. Some jobs require eight or even more hours of computer screen time, and by the end of the day, we might be somewhat uncomfortable with fatigue and muscle aches. Numerous studies have shown that our electronic devices can increase difficulties with focus and attention, and even affect our mental and emotional health — but what about our physical health?
