A FIREARMS dealer charged with more than 50 gun offences will have to wait to get a hearing date after Tamworth court was told there was crucial evidence missing in the case.
Belinda Louise Murray, 56, was excused from appearing in Tamworth Local Court on Monday, November 3, when it came to light her case did not have a compliant brief of evidence.
When questioned by Magistrate Julie Soars on the matter's status, police prosecutor Sergeant Kareena Gill confirmed there was still an outstanding piece of evidence.
She told the court the brief was missing the police body-worn video footage.
Ms Soars said the prosecution had already had six weeks to prepare and serve the brief of evidence.
Sergeant Gill said the evidence had not yet been fully served.
