ORLEANS — The spirit of patriotism and gratitude is on full display in Orleans this November, thanks to the dedicated work of the Orleans Town Crew. Earlier this month, the crew was busy hanging the Orleans Hometown Heroes Banners along Maple Street (State Road 37) in preparation for the upcoming Veterans Day holiday.
The banners, featuring local veterans, now adorn the historic streetlamps throughout the entire month of November. They serve as a vibrant, public display to honor and celebrate the area’s Veterans and their service.
The initiative highlights and recognizes all those who have served the country for the past 249 years. The display transforms Maple Street into a powerful avenue of appreciation, reminding residents and visitors alike of the significant sacrifices made by the
