PROSECUTORS will press ahead with a string of drugs and firearms charges against a Tamworth man, six months on from a raid on the edge of town.

Joel Rodney Dillon appeared in Tamworth Local Court flanked by an elderly family member on 14 charges stemming from the raid at Kootingal.

Oxley police raided the property off the New England Highway on the afternoon of May 22.

Police allege Dillon was behind the supply of more than 25kg of cannabis over a four-month period in 2025, and if found guilty, faces up to 15 years' imprisonment.

Solicitor for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Andrew Passlow told the court the Crown had confirmed the offences against Dillon.
