ALLEN PARK -- Josh Paschal has been behind schedule in his recovery from a back injury for the last couple of months.
The Detroit Lions hoped the former second-round pick would be on the practice field after training camp. But after a few months of non-updates, Paschal was back at practice this week.
Paschal had his 21-day acclimation window opened on Wednesday, along with rookie offensive lineman Miles Frazier . The edge defender now has three weeks to work back into game shape and will remain on the non-football injury list until he is activated.
He landed on the NFI list when the Lions reported for training camp in July. The 25-year-old’s injury wasn’t revealed to be a back issue until last week.
