ROCKFORD, MI - After a $230 million Rockford Public Schools bond failed, Superintendent Steve Matthews said the district will take some time to evaluate the results, talk to the community and identify a path forward.
“The bond vote was disappointing to those of us who had spent over two years working through the process of developing a plan,” Matthews said in a statement emailed to MLive. “But the voters have spoken – clearly.”
