The Kingston Police are encouraging residents to sign up for the CAMSafe Program, an initiative that they say will help create a centralized registry of private security cameras.
According to a news release from the police force, members of the public can voluntarily register their cameras, which would help provide law enforcement with valuable resources to enhance investigations.

“This innovative platform empowers police officers with a streamlined, map‐based interface to locate and contact participants, fostering collaboration and improving community safety,” the release read.
