Netflix is reportedly making a big push towards video podcasts in 2026.
According to The Hollywood Reporter , Netflix has sent “dozens of requests” to agents at WME, UTA, and CAA to add more video podcasts to the platform. Currently, the streaming giant plans to launch its video podcast offering in early 2026, with a library of options for existing audiences. Netflix has also already secured some podcasts, as the streaming giant teamed up with Spotify to bring Bill Simmons’ The Ringer to the platform, with The Ringer’s NFL, NBA, Fantasy Football, and F1 shows set to air live on both platforms. The deal also includes The Bill Simmons Podcast, The Zach Lowe Show, Serial Killers, and The Rewatchables.
