Viking Venus and Viking Orion’s scheduled stopovers in the region have been terminated in recent weeks due to the climate activist group’s planned “protestival” in Camp Shortland and Foreshore Park from Thursday 27 November to Tuesday 2 December.
The organisation also plans to blockade the Port of Newcastle again.
