CLEVELAND — Arraignment was held Wednesday in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court for the two children charged in the .

However, only one of the two defendants appeared before Judge Kristen Sweeney.

Last month, a 10-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy were indicted on the following charges by the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office:

One count of attempted murder

Four counts of rape

Two counts of felonious assault

One count of kidnapping

One count of strangulation

"A 5-year-old on Sept. 13 of 2025 was found naked, in a field, urinated upon, and assaulted," explained prosecutor Oscar Albores during Wednesday's arraignment.
