PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A wrong-way driver was stopped overnight Wednesday in Peoria by a trooper who used his vehicle to make the stop.
Details are still limited. Just after midnight, the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) said it received several calls about a wrong-way vehicle on the Loop 303.
A DPS trooper found the vehicle in the area of Lake Pleasant Parkway and used his cruiser to stop the wrong-way driver. Neither the trooper nor the wrong-way driver were injured.
DPS did not provide charging information against the driver, who is still not identified publicly.
Arizona’s Family is working to learn more information about the driver and charges.
