CLEVELAND, Ohio -- After a mass shooting wounded several people in Bath Township last weekend, officials are urging residents to report illegal short-term rentals.
Just after midnight Sunday, Bath police responded to a house at 933 Top of the Hill Drive after 911 callers reported a shooting at a house party.
The house party, advertised on social media, was at an Airbnb, which Bath’s zoning regulations prohibit. On Tuesday, the township’s trustees, Elaina Goodrich, Sharon Troike and Sean Gaffney, posted a statement on social media urging residents to take action if they know about a local residence being used for short-term rentals.
