LUDINGTON — Mason County Central Schools voters have approved a 2.15-mill bond extension that will generate $22.375 million for districtwide improvements, passing after four previous failed attempts since 2021.
The bond will fund projects that enhance school safety through secured entrances and additional security measures, address aging facilities with needed repairs, and improve learning environments with new technology and furnishings.
Superintendent Jeff Mount said he’s grateful for the community’s support and believes the timing was right for this proposal.
