WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - A Columbus resident pleaded guilty after a high-speed pursuit in Warren in June.
Christopher Bufford, 59, pleaded guilty in Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas to first-degree possession of cocaine felony with forfeiture specification and fourth-degree failure to comply.
He has been sentenced to five to seven-and-a-half years in prison, according to a news release from the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office.
Police arrested Bufford on June 29 after officers investigating a report of domestic violence reportedly saw a vehicle driving away at a high speed and ignoring the commands to stop. Bufford left the vehicle on foot, where he ran until an officer hit him with a Taser and took him into custody.
Police found 42.34 grams of cocaine and $392 on his person. The
