Purdue football legend Drew Brees has reportedly been added to Fox's NFL broadcasting team. The Athletic reported he would join Tom Brady and Greg Olsen as a full-time game analyst.
The report said Brees would call his first game in Week 11 at a game to be determined. His deal is believed to be for multiple seasons.
The 46-year-old worked with NBC as part of Notre Dame and NFL coverage in 2021, but he left because of travel demands.
Brees spent one day in Fox's pregame and postgame analysis crew in September when panel regular Julian Edelman was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame.
Fox has been short one game analyst since Mark Sanchez was stabbed and arrested in Indianapolis in early October. The network hasn't announced anything regarding Sanchez's status.
