COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) - A 51-year-old man was arrested Wednesday morning after he attacked another person with a samurai sword, according to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

Just before 8:30 a.m., multiple agencies responded to the Mountain View Trailer Park in Warren for a reported assault with a samurai sword. Officers arrived to the scene and found one victim with cuts to his hand.

The sheriff’s office said the suspect, Archie Tomlinson, of Warren, also had injuries to his hand that he received while trying to stab one of the victims.

Tomlinson and the victim were taken to an area hospital where they were both treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
