Giant Eagle announced in a news release that shoppers have the chance to use their receipts to now help them receive a free frozen turkey until Nov. 9, adding an additional three days to the original promotion.

The promotion is available at all Giant Eagle locations and involves shoppers tracking their progress toward the $350 threshold through their register receipts and the Giant Eagle mobile app, with those who meet the threshold being able to redeem their frozen turkey through Nov. 30.

Customers who prefer to pay it forward can donate the value of their earned turkey to Giant Eagle's local food bank partners, turning their shopping into support for those in need. Receipts and spending toward the promotion must have taken place between 10/16 and 11/9 to be used toward the threshold.
