EXCLUSIVE : The heist of the Louvre Museum, which read like something straight out of the script of an Ocean’s Eleven spinoff, made global headlines when thieves stole around $100M worth of jewels.

The story is now set to be told in a fast-turnaround documentary for Discovery Channel .

The network has ordered Louvre Heist: Minute By Minute from Pioneer Productions, the company behind Hulu’s Mother Undercover and Nat Geo Wild’s In The Womb: Animal Babies.

The doc will launch on November 26, just over a month after the thieves stole eight pieces of the French Crown Jewels.
