WROCESTER, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A Worcester woman who went missing on Friday morning and was believed to be in danger, was found dead. Now, her city is mourning her loss amid this investigation turned tragedy.
Just two days after 30-year-old Joanna Brown was reported missing by her family, police shared the unfortunate news that her body was found in her car on Monday evening. At the time, police believed that she could have been in the Springfield area after learning from her family that Brown had ties to Holyoke.
Worcester Police regretfully reported that brown was found Monday evening in the area of 27 Mount Vernon Street, an apartment complex right next to a park. Brown was found in her Mitsubishi Outlander.
