Sonic Drive-In is set to return to San Bernardino this week.

A grand opening is set for 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at the new location, 715 W. Fifth St., in the Fifth Street Gateway development area.

The event will feature live entertainment, giveaways and photo opportunities with the chain’s mascot, Phil the Cup.

In celebration, the chain will make a $10,000 donation to education nonprofit platform DonorsChoose .

The chain previously had a location at 1150 N. Waterman Ave. decades ago.

The new location will be open 10 a.m.-1 a.m. daily.

New in Rialto

Rialto’s second Yogurtland is now open.

The frozen yogurt shop is at 1508 S. Riverside Ave., Suite 106 , in the Rialto Village shopping center.

Hours are 11 a.m.-11 p.m. daily.

The new shop joins the existing one at 1155 W. Renai
