Get out and vote! No, we’re not talking to the adults. We’re talking to the kids. It’s time to make a decision on who will be Connecticut’s next Kid Governor.
Seven candidates were nominated in this year's contest from a field of 51 students. One will win and the other six will make up the governor’s cabinet.
Wednesday, Connecticut's Democracy Center went on the road to different schools introducing students to the nominees. They’re learning what it takes to run a campaign, make change, and earn votes.
Incumbent Keudy Martinez said being elected in 2024 was a dream come true.
