NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) -- With the holiday season right around the corner, two friends in Niagara Falls are making sure students who are displaced or facing homelessness have gifts to enjoy this year.
"That's what the holidays are all about, right? It's about giving," said Anne LeGasse.
Every year, Anne LeGasse and Nicole Mombrea find ways to help their community during the holiday season.
"Being a single mom for a long time, there was a year when Christmas almost didn't happen, and somebody in the background stepped up and made that happen for me. So I want no child to ever wake up on Christmas morning or whatever holiday they celebrate and not know that there is joy in their community and the community's here for them," said Mombrea.
