A man has been rushed to hospital following a two car crash near Kilmarnock.

Emergency services were called to the A71 between Hurlford and Galston at around 5.25pm on Wednesday, November 5, following reports of the crash.

Medics rushed a man to hospital. His condition is unknown.

The road was closed while police carried out an investigation into the incident. It has since reopened. Officers say enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
