GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The suspect in a stabbing at a Green Bay bar on Halloween night told police that the victim was “sleeping with his wife” and that they "were lucky that he didn’t kill the guy“, according to a criminal complaint filed on Tuesday.
Robert Goodletson, 47, is charged with one count of Attempted 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide with a Use of a Dangerous Weapon Modifier. He made his initial appearance in Brown County Court on Tuesday, where his cash bond was set at $250,000. His next court appearance is scheduled for November 18 at 2 p.m.
According to the criminal complaint, officers responded to The Hammer Inn just after 8:45 p.m. on Friday for a weapons call about someone being stabbed with a knife in the bar.
