ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Stockbridge voters have elected the youngest mayor in the city’s history.

On Tuesday, 22-year-old Jayden Williams beat incumbent Anthony Ford by 2,909 votes (53.89%) to 2,489 votes (46.11%).

Mayor-elect Williams recently graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a bachelor of arts in political science, pursuing the degree as he campaigned in Stockbridge, about half an hour south of Atlanta in Henry County.
